I heard that if you position your 360 vertically instead of horizontally, youll be able to use it morebecause there will be more holes open for air flow and it wont get as dirty
is this true?

I've always had mine horizontal in an entertainment cabinet. I haven't had any problems yet.

You risk you disks being scratched up when you run it vertically

Lay it flat and NEVER move it while it's on or you will get the "ring of death" on your game.

I have mine horizontal on top of those modular wire-frame storage boxes, which pretty much gives it as much ventilation as possible. And yeah, like Sypher said, move it while playing and you'll be kicking yourself all the way to the bank.

Also, if you encounter anyone annoying while playing your Xbox360... Simply tell them that moving their box from horizontal to vertical, makes the projection of the game much more clearer... Or if you're playing COD4, tell them to do that... it glitches the game, and things like snow on Bloc will disappear, etc, etc...

HAHA that sucks...
Its like in DF2 when people would tell the rook's to hit the command button and type in like "yellow power" if they wanted to cheat and get an auto aim bot. Well tyeing "y" on command got you kicked from server... You can really find out fast who wanted to cheat cuz 1/4 of the server would be empty after that LOL freaking wannabe cheaters.
