So i am thinking about buying a new mouse. It says that G7 is newer and runs at 2.4MHz and is 99 bucks while the mx1000 is at 70 bucks. which one would you buy and why? G7 is designed specifically for gaming. Check this out. They are both LASER so they are super fast! www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/comparison/US/EN,crid=2134,sh=1,chart=1?contentlist=10716&contentlist=9043

Well, if your going to spend that much on a mouse or any computer hardware to begin with then you might as well make the best investment....logic dictates that. Since the G7 is designed for gaming then it would be your best bet....besides the difference of 20 dollars when you're already spending at least 70 is worth it if the quality is already there. G7's are very smooth and they track extremely well....

I don't know why you don't try the G5...there is always a tiny-tiny bit of lag in wireless mice...the G5 is the same as the G7, but hardwired, so that couple of nano-second lag is not there.
