I have a tunderbird 1.3 p3 amd that needs to be OCed and will have a AMD 64 2.0 1fsb proccesor that needs to be oc as well. They say the 2.0 can be oced to 2.9 and still run stable, so i am probbly thinking about doing it to 2.6 ... The 1.3 i want to oc to 1.8 at least cus its a tunderbird and made for oc too.
Please let me know the best way to oc amd's.. Is there some kind of problem out their, or just the bios way? Thanks

It all depends on your MB configuration and the manufacturer of your MB that will determine the best way to OC your CPU. My Asus, for example, came with a program that OC's the CPU automatically due to the North Bridge being a Nvidia chipset. Otherwise it deals with the BIOS and your actual multiplier. Some MB's have toggle switches on the MB itself that are for the CPU multiplier, these are by far the easiest way to OC the CPU if you don't have a program to use. Otherwise it will involve moving jumpers around if your MB is older and finding the right multiplier setting that way. I need more info on the MB though before I can recommend any further.

Futz with it now, pay for it later. Leave it as is Bro. You will hardly be able to tell the difference between stock and OC.
