I'm starting to get bored of pub snd and no one plays Dom or tdm so i don't do so good because I'm stuck on the team full of kids who cant seem to manage even a .5 kd ratio... i think i won 1 match tonight. I'll join a Dom match and we will be losing 100-50 and they will have 2/3 flags and my team is just spawn killed relentlessly i played with kids who went 12-42 and 1-33 and then they go on to complain about the air strikes and helicopters. Oh and SK that spot in ambush on the opfor side works great no one could find me, i went 16-3, 1 death was because i fell back into the pit behind it 1 was from an air strike and i don't remember the last one

Im sorry you dont like SnD man, I jsut cant stand the lack of tactics made in TDM and Dom becuase there are no set spawn points as there should always be. With an enemy that can come from anywhere its down to "memorize the spawn points" (which is the only thing I hear these winning clans do). I personally started in CS years ago in SnD and yes true death sux, but its also the most tactical game out of the bunch. Took some getting used to again but adfter a week I felt like I was back in full swing, I was on the verge of giving up this game entirely, Domination was failing us, I mean to win easily hands down in every pub game but then lose in matches was just pointless, but once ppl started playing SnD I found it to be the most enjoyable of the 3.

purlman i didnt know you like DOM over SnD.. I thought me and vodka and few upcoming recruits where the only ones who actually like it... Im a killing machine on DOM as of late as you noticed, but now days with all these SnD games i havnt played DOM in over a month.
I agree with you knowledge that the spawn points on DOM are stupid. BUT it is 100% not true regarding tactics... DOM has way more tactical efforts to it then SnD. in SnD you get one shot/ one perfect plan to make your tactics work, if it doesnt, your DEAD waiting for next round... In Dom, if your running a play and one of teammates dies, you quickly spawn and rush back and keep pushing or continue where you left off.. The battle lines are different and people go face to face for flags their, no pussy camping, you not only have to be able to shoot but to move around and capture same time with enemy always knowing where you're at. Why are we good in pub but not in scrims on DOm? No real stretagy, the stretagys that you ran for the guys when you guys played on TWL where simple layouts of where everyone is going to camp.... Good for SnD but not for dom... In dom, by the time the round is over you can run 3-4 different plays or even if your losing you can come back as a TEAM and win. In SnD if half your team gets wipe out, if its 3-5, or 2-5 its no longer a teams game, its those 2 guys hopfully they can kill 5 enemys to get the win while the rest of your teammates are the bench.
Anyways purl, if your interested i can assemble a team for DOM and run some skeems once we get enough players interested.

its not that i dont like snd but my k/d slips in snd, i know thats not what its about put its a pet peave of mine i dont mind playing snd but if thats all we play it gets old. and surge i'd like to have a dom team but we would need some work i really thinking camping is the way to go in dom unless your down to 1 flag rushing just creates deaths witch takes you away from defending. i mean ive managed a 2.46kd in dom and its mainly from camping

yeah but rushing also keeps the pressure on and slows down the attackers and keeps them away from our defending flags. didnt say the whole team rush all the time.
Thats why i hate COD4, its a rushers game. Theirs only 1 or 2 ways/path a team takes to get to its objectives and so if the enemy rushes to those and plugs those ways, it really makes it tuff to get through..
Now if this was BF2 AT LEAST, specially IGI2 or DF2 their is no way you can rush in those games because you will get counter rushed no problem. Bottom line small map games suck and you can have a 12 year old coming up with tactics on this game because theirs really little you can do on any game mode due to map size.

It's very clear that there is a rift in DS, on side for DOM, one side for S&D, so yeah, it makes sense to have two squads. Surge leading one, and Knowledge leading the other. Of course, some people will want to play both, or sub in, or whatever but it's the best course of action if you ask me. I LOVE, love, love love love love (from the song) S&D, but that's just my personal choice. Debating over which game type is more tactical or which one is better is not only pointless, but a thorn in the side of DS' esprit de corps (unity).

agreed. I might as well assault with a sniper on hardcore or a pistol because one shot kills all but you get a scope with for distance shots on top of that.

I just hate hard core because of team killers. If you don't have 6 guys in your party its not worth playing.

I don't know but I miss one game style play that I used to have in Unreal Tournmanet the original.
I just wish that a game would come out with an IGI 2 style game play where you have objectives and you work your way through a large map. When you complete one objective you then spawn at the completed objective and work your way to the middle of the map. This way you don't have to always play the same parts of the maps.

Agreed, that is what was nice about flag cap. Now it seems like everything is just a modification of death match. The world has gone the way of ADD having kids.
