For the longest time I figured most mice were the same, apart from comfort and maybe how many buttons u want, well I finally broke down and picked up this sweet puppy, mostly on reccomendations and the fact that it lights up blue to match the rest of my PC ^_^ so I intorduce the latest addition tot he NEMISIS system, the Razer Copperhead mouse, featuring 7 buttons, teflon non-stick padding, 2000!!! DPI the fastest I can find, and even then its rare, fully programmable driver for the buttons, always on instant response optical laser, blue lighting rubber grip siding, light up tractioned mouse wheel and of course, the pulsating blue RAZER logo! And the sensitivity of this thing when sniping or long distance shooting is intense!!

whats the price on these things..? Is it really worth to upgrade from a normal optical mouse?
Also which is better, regular or USB keyboard. From what i hear usb keyboards responce quicker.. is it true? I have an old keyboard, but i cant find the same keyboard with the same buttons anywhere... REmember i use the arrows to play and the buttons around it. Not every keyboard will work for me.

Yeah I still have two razer boomslang mouses that I used to use back in the day. You can change sensitivity on the fly...Awesome mouse.....Take a while to get used to . My mouse were the old wheels and they would get dirty a lot and sometimes not work properly but when they did they were great....The razers run about 50 or so us dollars. Really worth the 50 bucks. Yeah usb 2.0 is the fastest. Probably not really noticable though for just the keyboard. The thing is surge, you can get used to anything....If you changed playing style to using asdf style that in a month or so you would get used to it and say to yourlself, man I can't believe I used to use the arrow keys. Think about if you broke your right hand. THen you would have to get used to writing with your left hand. Well after a while you would get the hang of it but at first you would think it was impossible. But yeah those razers are freakn sweet. PS Damn it knowledge, would you post a freakn link or something make us all do the damn work damn it....Anything with blue lights looks damn cool. Why the hell is that? www.razerzone.com/

hehe first off, i would highly reccomend any nostromo game pad over a keyboard, ten timesmore comfortable. and its not too bad a deal at around $30, although u can occasionally find it cheaper. As for blue light stuff, hells yea Vodka, can't wait to get my saitek X52 joystick system, not only because it has more programmable buttons than i know what to do with, but yes, it lights up blue to match the rest of my system ^_^

MMMMMmmmmmm...Homer like blue lights....LoL....
I used to have one of those game pads, it just didn't have enough buttons for me. I used to have one of those pads and then an extra usb keypad that had all my binds for counterstrike. I used to have the pad on my knee and my mouse on the table and the keypad on the table next to my mouse so that I can drop the mouse, punch the keypad then grab the mouse again. Really comfy but I just went back to my keyboard because you can't type with a gamepad and switching all around the place was too crazy...Man its funny if we had a video of how some people play. Its crazy what some people use or the positions they are in when playing....
Again you don't post a link to this crazy joystick or what the hell its for? Damn you

I still have yet to pick up the expansion. I've been tryin to mess around with this Xbox 360 deal through Ebay. Been tryin to sell one of those badboys and make a profit. I hope to get the expansion tomorrow at some point after my classes. Happy gaming.

To bad about joysticks seeing less use. They were the rave about 10 years ago with all the space combat sims. I loved flying using one and I think the the best space combat sim out is still Freespace 2.

Freespace was a spectacular sim. I loved that game. I remember playing it through about 5 times. Couldn't get enough of it.

Freespace was cool, Freelancer was fun tho it didnt have a joystick control. Anything from wing commander of the Staw Wars X-wing vs Tie Fighter series, Mechwarrior for some fun groundpounding !

Knowledge, are you sure you can use that with BF? I had the first version of that saitek and it wouldn't let me set the correct controls because whenever i went to set the controls it would set it to the switches that are on the throttle because they are always on. so i had to trade it back in ;(...i was in love with that thing for about a month.
